Political consultant and longtime Trump associate Roger Stone threatened radio host Randy Credico dog as he pressured the host to back up the false testimony he gave to Congress, accoding to the indictment issued by special counsel Robert Mueller.
The incident appeared in an indictment against Stone that led to his arrest early Friday morning. Credico has a 13-year-old coton de tulear dog called Bianca, which he refers to as his therapy dog. In an April 2018 interview with Yahoo, Credico said : “It’s certainly scary. When you start bringing up my dog, you’re crossing the line.”
According to the indictment, Stone and radio host Randy Credico both had connections to WikiLeaks, which was leaking emails from the Democratic National Committee that the U.S. intelligence community says were stolen by Russian hackers. Stone testified before the House Intelligence Committee, after which he fought with Credico over his testimony.
Credico argued in late 2017 that Stone should be honest when he talks to the FBI. Months later, Stone replied: “You are a rat. A stoolie. You backstab your friends-run your mouth my lawyers are dying Rip you to shreds.”
Stone then said he would “take that dog away from you,” and then said he wanted to fight Credico. “I am so ready. Let’s get it on. Prepare to die…”
Credico later criticized Stone for lying to Congress, which was the focus of the charges against Stone in the new indictment. “You should have just been honest with the house Intel committee… you’ve opened yourself up to perjury charges like an idiot,” Credico wrote.
