A former CBS reporter scolded “media organizations and journalists” who can’t be relied upon in an apparent reference to coverage of former national security adviser Michel Flynn and the Trump-Russia investigation.
Emmy Award-winning journalist Lara Logan, who previously worked for CBS before getting her own show on Fox Nation, tweeted a Daily Wire story Monday about former Rep. Trey Gowdy singling out reporters he said accepted leaks from Rep. Adam Schiff about “false Russia conspiracy claims.”

“Let’s just start with Politico and anyone not named Rachael Bade — she was the only reporter that I dealt with that was fair,” Gowdy told Fox’s Maria Bartiromo days after the Justice Department dropped the criminal charges against Flynn, which stemmed from the investigation into Russian election interference.
“[Politico’s] Kyle Cheney is just an acolyte for Adam Schiff, Manu Raju from CNN. Nothing Schiff wanted out, made public, no leak was too low for Manu Raju and CNN,” he added. “Fill in the blank at the New York Times.”
Minutes after tweeting the story out, Logan sent another tweet admonishing journalists.
“At a moment like this, it is unfortunate that we cannot rely on media organizations and journalists to take an honest look at the evidence — and do the right thing. No one has to take anyone‘s word anymore — all you have to do is read the notes, documents, reports & transcripts,” she wrote.
