A pub in London was temporarily renamed after President Trump ahead of his visit to the United Kingdom.
The bar, normally named the Jameson, is now called the Trump Arms and features America-themed decor and a banner that reads “Welcome Our American Friends.”

Trump told the Sun that the pub’s renaming was “wonderful.”
“I love those people,” Trump said. “Those are my people.”
The owner of the bar, Damien Smyth, 54, said the reason behind the rebranding was to honor the United Kingdom’s historically close relationship with the U.S.
“We did it last year when President Trump visited the U.K.,” Smyth told ABC News. “We’ve done it again now because he’s coming here on Monday. We must mark the great relationship between the British, the Irish and the American people.”
“They had no qualms about helping this country or the country next door,” Smyth said. “It’s about showing respect. The Americans, the Irish and the British are great friends, and now we’re family.”
Trump will be in the U.K. for three days. He met with Queen Elizabeth II upon his arrival and will attend a royal banquet at Buckingham Palace Monday evening.
