Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be tickling the ivories Saturday afternoon at the Aspen Music Festival — an experience that will set audience members back $30 to $60.

Rice, who was once a piano student at the Aspen Music Festival and School, will perform the first movement of Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A major and the second movement of Brahms’ Piano Quintet in B minor. Current students from the school will accompany her.

The event will begin with a conversation between Rice and Aspen Institute President Walter Isaacson, and money from ticket sales will be divided between the music school and the Institute.

According to the Aspen Post, it will be the second public musical performance for Rice since becoming secretary ofstate.

A State Department spokesman said he had no further comment on her appearance.
