R&B singer R. Kelly, who faces multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, lost his cool during an interview with “CBS This Morning” and shouted he “didn’t do this stuff” he has been accused of doing.
“Forget the blogs, forget how you feel about me. Hate me if you want to, love me if you want,” Kelly said in a segment of the interview with Gayle King that aired Wednesday. “But just use your commonsense. How stupid would it be for me, with my crazy past and what I’ve been through — oh, right now I just think I need to be a monster, hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and don’t let them eat, don’t let them out, unless they need some shoes down the street from their uncle!”
“Stop it! Y’all quit playing! Quit playing! I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me! I’m fighting for my fucking life! Y’all trying to kill me!” he said as he stood up, raised his voice, and pounded his fists.

Kelly, who pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in February, is accused of sexually abusing four women between 1998 and 2010. Three of the women were between the ages of 13 and 16 at the time of the alleged crimes, and the indictment accused Kelly, 52, of forcing sex on his victims.

Kelly also blasted the Lifetime docuseries called “Surviving R. Kelly,” which examined the allegations against Kelly, including relationships with underage girls.
“Everybody says something bad about me,” Kelly said of the series. “Nobody said nothing good. They were describing Lucifer. I’m not Lucifer, I’m a man. I make mistakes, but I’m not a devil, and by no means am I a monster.”
Kelly has faced multiple rumors of sexual misconduct throughout his career, including allegations that he illegally married 15-year-old singer Aaliyah when he was 27. According to court records obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times, Aaliyah admitted she was dishonest about her age on the marriage license.
He also was acquitted of 14 counts of child pornography in 2008. The charges were related to a video prosecutors claimed had shown Kelly having sex with a minor. The alleged victim and her parents did not testify at the trial, but multiple witnesses said the victim was underage.
