Neil Gorsuch has proven himself an extremely capable during the Senate hearing on Tuesday, avoiding any missteps during the Democrats inquiries about how he would rule on certain issues. The only time the possible Supreme Court justice found himself at a lost for words was when Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) asked if him a question from Reddit.
Flake texted his family if they had any questions they think would be worthy of asking Gorsuch during the hearing and the Senator’s teenage son turned to Reddit for some inspiration.
“My son Dallin, a teenager, said, ask him if he’d rather fight 100 duck sized horses or one horse sized duck,” Flake said. “Apparently it was a question on Reddit.”
Gorsuch shook his head and said he was at a loss for words.
The Arizona Senator followed up with a question from his brother asking if he ever wore gym shorts and a tank top underneath his robe.
“On that one we have something called the Fifth Amendment which is part of the Bill of Rights as well, which of course protects right not to self incriminate,” Gorsuch replied.
