Ye to give first TV interview since sporting ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt

Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, is sitting down with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson on Thursday to talk about his fashion show in Paris where he and his models wore “White Lives Matter” shirts.

“You can’t manage me,” Ye told the crowd on Monday. “This is an unmanageable situation. You can’t turn the music lower. This is a god’s dream. A dream that can’t happen without the help of God.”

The shirt sparked outrage on Twitter, with some calling the move “dangerous” and “irresponsible”.

The next day, Ye took to social media with a post about the “Black Lives Matter” organization, calling it “a scam.”

Earlier Thursday, Ye posted a preview clip of Carlson visiting his office in Los Angeles.

“TUCKER CARLSON STOPPED BY THE NEW YEEZY OFFICE FUN GOD IS GOOD,” Ye wrote.

Fox News is keeping most of what was said in the interview a mystery. “During tonight’s wide-ranging interview, West will discuss the controversy surrounding his ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt, current affairs, and his political views,” a statement from the network said.

However, according to TMZ, Kanye says he feels he’s been perceived as a bully, and doesn’t think that’s true. He also says people believe he’s bullying black women, another point he refutes … and talks about how Hollywood ‘bullies’ him.”
