Fake Obamacare enrollee accepts Steve Stockman’s State of the Union invite

Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) just officially secured his date to the 2014 State of the Union address, as fake Obamacare enrollee Chad Henderson accepted the Congressman’s invitation.

Henderson, the 21-year-old who duped the media into reporting that he had successfully signed up for Obamacare online, told The Daily Caller on Tuesday that he would accept Stockman’s invite, noting that he hoped the Congressman was serious.

“I hope it’s a serious offer,” the Georgia man said. “It doesn’t surprise me that he’s playing games, but I will be in that Capitol come January if he’s serious.”

And Stockman was apparently serious, as a press release the Congressman tweeted out on Wednesday revealed.

“I look forward to giving Chad the opportunity to attend the State of the Union Address,” Stockman said in the release. “Now when President Obama speaks about ObamaCare the media will have someone they can cut to. I encourage the President to acknowledge him and his story.”

It’s unclear the exact date of the 2014 State of the Union, but the address is given in January or February every year.
