Yes, when the delegates from 12 countries who are staying at the Ritz’s properties downtown and in Georgetown this week went to bed Monday night, they found dove-shaped “Peace” cookies as part of their turndown service, in addition to a card emblazoned with the Walt Whitman quote, “Peace is always beautiful.”
