Actress Amanda Bynes’ “ugly” and unbalanced behavior has gotten her held at a hospital for mental evaluation, the Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.
The “Hairspray” star allegedly lit a fire in the driveway of a single-family home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., Monday night. Even weirder, the residents of the house are of no relation to the actress. When police arrived at the scene they determined Bynes met the criteria of a 5150, which places a person under 72 hours of involuntary psychiatric care.
This is just the latest in a string of antics by Bynes. The former child star has had several brushes with the law, including a charge that she had thrown a bong out her New York City apartment window. In her downtime she has taken to wearing wigs and tweeting that famous people are “ugly”–including, earlier this month, the President and First Lady.
