Hillary Clinton kicks Trump ahead of Putin meeting: ‘Do you know which team you play for?’

Hillary Clinton kicked President Trump in a tweet regarding the 2018 World Cup in Russia on Sunday.

Hours after France defeated Croatia 4-2 in the final game, Clinton snarked about Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Finland on Monday.

“Great World Cup. Question for President Trump as he meets Putin: Do you know which team you play for?” she tweeted.

Trump is set to first meet with Putin in Helsinki for 90 minutes, without aides and note-takers in tow, which has alarmed politicos and journalists alike who worry the U.S. president’s relationship is too cozy with the former KGB agent.

Earlier in the day, Trump congratulated not only France for winning the soccer tournament, but also Putin and Russia “for putting on a truly great World Cup Tournament — one of the best ever!”

The meeting Monday comes day after Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced that special counsel Robert Mueller indicted 12 Russian officials on charges of hacking Democrats’ computers during the 2016 campaign.

Trump’s campaign is under investigation by Mueller’s team for possible collusion with the Russians. Trump beat Clinton in the 2016 election.

When asked about extraditing the indicted intelligence agents, Trump conceded during a CBS News interview, “I hadn’t thought of that. But I certainly, I’ll be asking about it.”
