A lot of Americans are about to get blindsided by the Affordable Care Act. It seems, according to Sarah Kliff, writing in the Washington Post, that:
Fewer than six in 10 Americans know that the Obamacare law is still on the books. Seven percent think the Supreme Court struck it down; 12 percent say Congress repealed Obamacare.
They are in for a rude surprise, real soon now, as Daniel Kessler writes in the Wall Street Journal. Especially if they are:
… single adults age 21-29 earning 300% to 400% of the federal poverty level
In which case, they “will be hit with an increase of 46% even after premium assistance from tax credits.”
Looks like it is going to be a real rude wake-up call.
