Two of the top softball programs from the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland will meet at 4 p.m. today, weather permitting.
Pallotti (10-7 overall, 5-3 IAAM) will pay a visit to Archbishop Spalding (8-2 overall, 7-1 IAAM) at Randazzo Park. Pallotti won, 3-2, on March 30 in the previous meeting.
“I have a lot of respect for that team,” Pallotti coach Paul O?Brien said Sunday. “I think they are the best hitting team in the state.”
The Panthers are returning from a trip to South Carolina, where they went 3-2 in the Grand Strand Classic.
“It?s going to take our very best effort on our best day,” O?Brien said.
