Schwarzenegger slams Trump on coal support: Protect pagers, fax machines, and Blockbuster too

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Friday made light of news that President Trump still plans to continue utilizing coal and nuclear plants.

The former actor joked that he eagerly awaits the administration’s regulations to protect pagers, fax machines, and Blockbuster, in addition to coal.

“I eagerly await the administration’s regulations protecting pagers, fax machines, and Blockbuster,” Schwarzenegger tweeted.

The actor referenced a report which detailed the Trump administration’s plans to utilize electricity from coal and nuclear plants that may close.

Trump touted his overwhelming support of coal throughout the 2016 campaign. The rhetoric started a feud between Schwarzenegger and Trump.

Schwarzenegger went after Trump earlier this year, tweeting that defending gerrymandering won’t drain the swamp, after Trump slammed the new Pennsylvania map.

In 2017, Trump went after Schwarzenegger as well, saying he was a bad governor and claiming NBC fired the him over his “bad (pathetic) ratings” when he was on his show, “The Celebrity Apprentice.”
