Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer encouraged viewers in a now-deleted tweet to vote for his Dancing with the Stars performance, presumably because the judges would be biased against him because of Christ.
“Clearly the judges aren’t going to be with me,” Spicer said Tuesday. “Let’s send a message to #Hollywood that those of us who stand for #Christ won’t be discounted.”
Spicer, 47, was responding to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee who also encouraged his Twitter following to vote for the former press secretary in order to cause “an emotional meltdown in Hollywood.”

Spicer replaced his deleted tweet with another thanking Huckabee for his “support and prayers.”

ABC stirred controversy last month when it announced Spicer was part of the show’s cast. One of the show’s hosts, Tom Bergeron, said he disagreed with the network’s decision.
“It is the prerogative of the producers, in partnership with the network, to make whatever decisions they feel are in the best long term interests of the franchise,” he said. “We can agree to disagree, as we do now, but ultimately it’s their call.”

Spicer made his debut on the show Monday night in a neon-green shirt while dancing salsa to the Spice Girls.
