Prince George’s County police are investigating a pedestrian death in Brandywine.
It happened about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 16600 block of Brandywine Road in Brandywine. Police said the road was dark and three adults in black were walking in the rod. At the same time, a vehicle attempted to make a legal pass of two other cars, when he noticed the pedestrians and attempted to swerve to avoid them, striking one fatally, said Cpl. Evan Baxter.
The driver stayed on the scene. Police continue investigating.
