Former President Bill Clinton revealed Wednesday night to Conan O’Brien what he misses most about being the commander in chief.
“They don’t play a song when you walk in the room anymore,” Clinton said when asked what he’s nostalgic for since leaving the White House.
“It’s amazing. For three or four weeks I was totally lost. I didn’t know where I was. Where is ‘Hail to the Chief?’” Clinton joked.
“Hail to the Chief” is the president’s official anthem. The tradition of playing the song when the president enters a room dates back to the 1800s.
