After becoming an internet sensation earlier in the day after he interviewed Sen. Elizabeth Warren, 11-year-old “freelance reporter” Jaden Jefferson told CNN he was most impressed with spiritual guru Marianne Williamson for the 2020 Democratic presidential primary.
“And who impresses you the most?” CNN host Brooke Baldwin asked Jaden in a Tuesday interview. “You’ve been reading about these candidates just like we all have.”
“Marianne Williamson,” Jaden replied.
“Really?” Baldwin said, clearly surprised.
Jaden called Williamson “pretty impressive,” defending the candidate against accusations that her campaign was just a stunt.
The young reporter’s answer came a day after Warren granted him a one-on-one interview.
Guys, Jaden has a lesson for all of us reporters: Keep your questions short and simple. He killed it. pic.twitter.com/UdNTbSDGps

The Massachusetts Democrat is currently in third place for the Democratic presidential primary race, while Williamson is tied for seventeenth according to RealClearPolitics.
Williamson has had to defend herself as “not a cult leader” while she runs an eclectic 2020 campaign on the idea of love.
