Wedding bells are ringing for Christie Brinkley’s ex-husband and his 21-year-old fiancee.
Peter Cook, 60, popped the question to his significantly younger “soulmate” Alba Jancou last month on a trip to Santorini, Greece, according to Page Six. Despite nearly a 40-year age difference, the couple has decided to head down the aisle after just a year of dating.
“We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have found, in each other, our soulmate,” Cook, who proposed with a six-carat diamond ring, said. “We are looking forward to many years of wedded bliss!”
News of Cook and Jancou’s relationship first broke over the summer after appearing at society events in the Hamptons together.
“They originally met two years ago at Le Bilboquet but didn’t start dating until a year ago,” a source said. “They are planning a destination wedding in Europe.”

Jancou, a psychology student who is set to graduate from Tulane University in 2021, is the daughter of New York gallerists and is “Swiss, French, and English.”
Cook was famously married to model and actress Christie Brinkley, 65, from 1996 until 2006 when they divorced after Cook was caught having an affair with his 18-year-old office clerk. The couple shares one daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, who is the same age as her future stepmother.
After his divorce from Brinkley, Cook married Suzanne Shaw, but they later divorced after just two years of marriage in 2014. Shaw has since accused him of having a “secret pathological predilection” for young women.
Fellow celebrity Dennis Quaid, 65, also recently proposed to his much younger girlfriend Laura Savoie, 26.
