Numerous Crime Solvers tips helped Fairfax County detectives identify suspects in the thefts of high-end eyewear. Two suspects have been arrested, and warrants are outstanding on a third, Fairfax police said.
At least four incidents occured at vision stores in Fairfax County from July through November 2011. Multiple pairs of eyewear were stolen in each location, and some of the stolen pairs were Gucci, police said.
Arinthia Leake-Hall, 52, and Norlin Washington, 43, were charged for their involvement in the incidents. Leake-Hall, from the District, was charged with two counts of grand larceny and two counts of larceny with the intent to sell. Washington, from Accokeek, Md., was charged with three counts of grand larceny and three counts of larceny with the intent to sell, police said.
A third suspect, 53-year-old Robert Wilson, has two outstanding warrants for grand larceny and two outstanding warrants for larceny with the intent to sell, police said.
Wilson is a black, 5-feet 5-inches tall, and about 130 pounds, police said. He goes by the nicknames “Link” or “Linky.”

Fairfax police initially believed there were at least four suspects inovled in stealing the glasses, but it was not immediately clear whether a fourth suspect was in custody. Detectives believed the cases were connected to similar thefts in Montgomery County.
