Rick Santorum officially has a (small) squad of supporters attempting to combat what happens when you Google the GOP presidential candidate’s name. Last week, Santorum fans created a “Fixing Santorum’s Google Problem” page on Facebook, encouraging people to “fight back against the gay agenda” by linking to Santorum’s real website.
Back in 2003, syndicated sex columnist Dan Savage created a website and alternate definition for “Santorum” in response to remarks the Pennsylvania senator made about same-sex couples. Savage’s “Santorum” has reigned on Google since.
So far, 20 of Santorum’s supporters have vowed to help salvage his name.
