Tom Brady: ‘would be great’ if Trump wins in 2016

If Donald Trump becomes the Republican presidential nominee, he has running mate potential in someone who knows how to win: NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady, a four-time Super Bowl winner with the New England Patriots, has already confirmed that a pro-Trump “Make American Great Again” hat does indeed hang in his locker, and on Wednesday he reiterated his support for the billionaire businessman’s 2016 campaign.

“That would be great. There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn. I’m sure of that,” Brady said about Trump winning in 2016.

Earlier this month, Brady said on The Dennis & Callahan Morning Show that he and Trump, whom he called a “good friend”, first met 13 years ago while serving as judge during one of Trump’s Miss USA Beauty Pageants.

“He always gives me a call with different motivational speeches at different times,” Brady said, adding, “We’ve had a lot of time together on the golf course over the years. He’s a hell of a lot of fun to play golf with.”

Though Brady has not yet officially endorsed Trump, if and when he does, it will definitely be welcomed by the billionaire, who has consistently said how he is only in the race to win.
