Despite there being no new coronavirus stimulus payments unveiled recently, millions of people may still be eligible for a form of relief, but the time to claim the money is running out.
As many as 9 million people still may qualify for a COVID-19 stimulus payment or Child Tax Credit, per the Government Accountability Office.

Individuals and families who do not file taxes due to how little income they earn have until Nov. 15 to fill out a simplified tax return form to determine if they qualify for either of the relief payments.
Individuals who made less than $75,000 per year or joint filers who made less than $150,000 per year were eligible for the three stimulus checks. For those who have yet to claim them, there is still time to do so.
Most parents were eligible for the federal government’s Child Tax Credit, which distributed payments from July to December 2021. The goal of the tax credit was to help people with children avoid financial hardship and food insecurity.
