Watters vs. RNC protestors: Obama “failed us,” Trump is “straight evil” [VIDEO]

The Republican National Convention was bound to draw protests, and Jesse Watters of Fox News confirmed just how weird they could be with his “Watters World: RNC protest edition.”

Many were there protesting Donald Trump. One woman shared that she’s protesting “the fact that Donald Trump has made it this far and through this race and is making a mockery of Americans.”

When Watters asked her if Obama had already done that, she answered “by far not” with a tone of laughter in her voice.

One young woman downplayed the idea of having Trump as a billionaire in the White House because she can find better billionaires like Bill O’Reilly.

Watters managed to speak with DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, though she only said that she was “good, how are you?” and disappeared before she could answer “Hillary has a problem with the truth, do you think that’s going to be an issue for you guys?”

He had more success with social activist Cornel West who said that blue lives “absolutely” matter, but that “the vicious legacy of the white supremacy tells us none of those lives can really matter unless the least of these matter, which is black lives.”

West responded that Obama “failed us” when Watters mentioned we have a black president.

A young man with an afro and a polka-dotted shirt said he’s there “protesting the growing fascism in this country and the police lynchings of black people.” He defined fascism as “like a conservative revolution almost.” He also questioned if “Make America Great Again” referred to “the genocide of all the indigenous people that lived here.”

The young man, who took issue with Watters touching his hair, has a similar problem with capitalism, which he hopes to replace with socialism and pointed to “Cuba right now” as an example of where it’s worked.

Watters found a black woman who was not afraid to say “all lives matter.” She also said that Trump’s life matters, but she is worried about him as president “because he’s straight evil.”

He told O’Reilly that the protesters can’t get too close to the convention because “the cops are doing a great job” and that the protesters “obviously don’t know what they’re protesting.”
