Fox News contributor: Mueller ‘is in early-stage dementia’

Fox News contributor Rachel Campos-Duffy started a heated argument by diagnosing Robert Mueller with “early-stage dementia” during a panel on Outnumbered Friday.

Mueller, who testified in front of two House committees on Wednesday, faced criticism for appearing to be unfamiliar with certain aspects of the report and for asking members to repeat themselves.

“We saw what we saw. I thought the lawyer was a visiting angel, not a lawyer. He is in early-stage dementia,” Campos-Duffy said before being cut off by fellow contributor Jessica Tarlov.

Tarlov immediately responded, “That is so dangerous. Really!? You’re a doctor, and you’ve seen him!?”

The two then sparred with Campos-Duffy, pointing out that members of the media have speculated on President Trump’s health, with Tarlov noting the coverage Hillary Clinton’s health received in the lead up to the 2016 presidential election.

“Don’t do it,” Tarlov added. “Do not talk about peoples’ health you have no idea about!”

Campos-Duffy followed up, “We were told he was sharp as a tack, we all saw what we saw,” and added that she was “concerned” about the fact that Mueller led the investigation “in that state of mind.”

Harris Faulkner, the host, then tried reigning the panelists in saying that, “we aren’t doctors.” But she did go on to note that others on the left, specifically naming David Axelrod, expressed sentiments that Mueller did not “appear as sharp” as he did years ago.
