A charity van full of donated items to help displaced Ukrainian refugees was stolen in the United Kingdom on Sunday.
A white Mercedes van filled with furniture was stolen from the headquarters of International Aid Trust, a Christian charity based out of the U.K., in Chorley overnight Sunday, according to a Facebook post.
“Last week, we had between 50 and 80 volunteers at a warehouse sorting, packing, and loading trucks,” Rev. Bernard Cocker told the BBC. “And then you get two individuals that steal one of our vehicles. That’s what really hurts.”

The week before, between 50 and 80 volunteers sorted, packed, and loaded trucks headed out of the country, the reverend said.
Surveillance footage showed that the van was stolen within three minutes and thieves had “cloned the electronic key,” according to Cocker.
The charity has operated for nearly 30 years in Ukraine and in recent weeks sent supplies to Ukraine and neighboring countries, helping distribute food, clothing, bedding, and more to refugees.
