Another woman has come forward accusing Roy Moore of sexual misconduct, while another alleged she was 17 when Moore made an advance at her and said he was accustomed to pursuing teenage girls.
Tina Johnson alleged that Roy Moore groped her while she was in his law office with her mother on legal business back in 1991, AL.com reported Wednesday.
Johnson, who was 28 years old at the time, said that Moore flirted with her from the moment she entered his office to sign custody of her 12-year-old son over to her mother.
According to the AL.com, Moore questioned Johnson about her other two children, both of which were young girls, asking her what color their eyes were and if they were as attractive as she was.
After Johnson signed the papers she said Moore came around from behind his desk and sat inches from her, so close that she remembered smelling his breath.
“He didn’t pinch it; he grabbed it,” Johnson told the news outlet as she was recalling the encounter. “He kept commenting on my looks, telling me how pretty I was, how nice I looked.”
She added: “He was saying that my eyes were beautiful.”
Another accuser, Kelly Harrison Thorp, said she was working as a hostess at the age of 17 when Moore asked her if she would go out him.
Thorp told AL.com she asked Moore if he knew how old she was and he replied: “Yeah. I go out with girls your age all the time.”
Thorp reportedly said she rejected his offer and left.
Thorp said she knows Leigh Corfman, who told the Washington Post she had a sexual encounter with Moore at 14. Thorp told the publication she believes Corfman and is proud of her for telling
Last week, Moore, the Republican nominee in the special election contest to fill Alabama’s vacant U.S. Senate seat, came under fire after the Washington Post published a report alleging Moore pursued romantic or sexual relationships with four teenage girls, one of whom was 14, while he was in his 30s in the late 1970s and early 1980s. On Monday, another woman came forward accusing Moore of sexually assaulting her when she was 16.
