President Trump criticized Iran Thursday morning for violating a United Nations resolution with its ballistic missile test last week.
“Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile. Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them!” Trump tweeted.
“Iran was on its last legs and ready to collapse until the U.S. came along and gave it a life-line in the form of the Iran Deal: $150 billion,” he added.

Trump, who promised to tear up the Iran nuclear deal on his first day in office but has yet to do so, also tweeted Wednesday night to warn Iran over allegedly “taking over more and more of Iraq.”
The president sent retired Army Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, his national security adviser, in front of the press Wednesday afternoon to warn Iran that it was “on notice” after the missile test.
The White House did not clarify what that meant, with a senior administration official said later in the day that they are developing a response to the Iranian test.
The test did not violate the nuclear arms deal reached with the U.S. and other countries, but violated a U.N. resolution passed in the days after the agreement was reached.
