Kerry: Rex Tillerson pick was thoughtful

Outgoing Secretary of State John Kerry “praised as thoughtful” some of President-elect Trump’s cabinet nominees, including Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson for the State Department and retired Gen. James Mattis as secretary of defense, according to an article that ran Sunday in the Boston Globe.

Tillerson has come under withering criticism from other Democrats for his ties to Russian President Putin.
