McDonogh?s wrestling team got the fight it expected and the results it hoped for Friday night.
The Eagles won eight of 14 matches in a 34-24 victory over Mount St. Joseph. With the win, McDonogh captured its second consecutive Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference title and fourth overall.
