Major mess: Now one of Biden’s dogs leaves a nasty surprise in White House hallway

President Joe Biden’s rescue dog, Major, has been involved in two biting incidents — and now, the White House has a real mess on its hands.

One of Biden’s dogs allegedly used the hallway outside the Diplomatic Reception Room in the White House as a restroom Wednesday. Members of the press were preparing to join first lady Jill Biden on a trip to California when they reportedly spotted the mess on the red-carpeted hallway while awaiting her motorcade.

It was not clear which of the president’s German shepherds, Major or Champ, was the culprit behind the dirty deed.

Major was involved in his second biting incident of the month Monday.

BIDEN’S DOG MAJOR BITES AGAIN

The dog “nipped someone while on a walk,” the first lady’s press secretary Michael LaRosa said, adding that Major “is still adjusting to his new surroundings.”

In a statement to the Washington Examiner, PETA said: “A new environment can make dogs feel uncertain and stressed, and we shouldn’t forget that Major was lost or abandoned at some point in his life.”

The Biden family adopted Major from an animal shelter in November 2018 as a companion to the aging 13-year-old Champ. Both dogs moved into the White House just after Biden was inaugurated in January.

It was not revealed whom the dog bit this week, but the person was examined by the White House medical staff and returned to work without injury, LaRosa said.

Champ and Major recently returned to the White House after Major bit a Secret Service employee March 8, causing a minor injury.

The dogs were sent back to Delaware, and Biden said that Major was being trained following the first biting incident.

The D.C. Humane Rescue Alliance accepts legal reports for dog bite incidents around the Beltway, but Chris Schindler, vice president of field services at the organization, told the Washington Examiner, “We have no jurisdiction and cannot enforce District laws on secured, federally-owned property.”

The two dogs were seen on the South Lawn before the first lady’s motorcade left Wednesday. Major was leashed, while Champ roamed freely.

Former President Donald Trump did not have animals in the White House.
