Waffle House closing 365 locations over the coronavirus

The food chain Waffle House has closed more than 300 locations in the United States because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The company shared a post Tuesday on Facebook that showed 1,627 of their locations in the U.S. remained open, while 365 were closed.

“We want to acknowledge the great efforts of our associates, who work hard every shift to create a safe, warm and welcoming dining experience 24 hours daily,” the company said in a statement earlier this month. “We are working hard to support them as we do our best to manage through this crisis.”

Last week, Waffle House announced its restaurants would be staying open for to-go orders. “Our Associates are the true heroes during this time and appreciate any order you are able to place with them!” it said.
