Two former Clinton aides spilled the secrets about Hillary’s drinking habits and biggest regrets during a roundtable on HuffPost Live with Bloomberg’s Josh Green and Politico’s Glenn Thrush.
Patti Solis Doyle, who served as Hillary’s 2008 campaign manager for a portion of time, revealed one big thing America doesn’t know about Hillary: She’s actually a good time.
“She’s a lot of fun,” Solis Doyle explained. “She likes to hang out and drink and gossip.”
“She hangs out and she laughs and she likes to gossip, like, ‘who are you dating?'” the former campaign aide added.
And, Hillary’s alcohol preferences are apparently wine and vodka.
Striking a more serious note, Solis Doyle admitted her fault at not emphasizing Clinton’s gender enough during the 2008 campaign.
“It is one of my personal biggest regrets,” she said.
Tracy Sefl, a former top Hillary campaign aide and senior advisor for super PAC Ready for Hillary, agreed that Clinton should have appealed to women more aggressively during her original bid for the White House.
“I would say maybe give the ‘glass ceiling’ speech a hell of a lot earlier,” Sefl said when asked what Hillary would admit to regretting after a few glasses of wine.
