‘Easy Rider’ chopper at auction might be phony — FILE - In this Sept. 4, 2014 file photo, a vintage "Easy Rider" Captain America motorcycle is shown at Profiles in History auction house in Calabasas, Calif. Its principal authentication comes from "Grizzly Adams" actor Dan Haggerty, who had a bit part in "Easy Rider" and claims to have taken possession of the only bike that survived the filming of the druggy road movie. But Haggerty admitted this week, in an interview with Los Angeles Times, that he has authenticated and sold two Captain America bikes. (AP Photo/Damian Dovarganes, File) | Damian Dovarganes

CALABASAS, Calif. (AP) — The customized Captain America chopper Peter Fonda rode in “Easy Rider” is up for auction this weekend in California.
