Anne Arundel County police responded to a report of a shooting at a place typically well-guarded — a Dunkin’ Donuts.
When officers arrived shortly after noon Tuesday, they found a 23-year-old Snow Hill, Md., man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
He told them that he had actually been shot a few minutes earlier in the parking lot of Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie. Friends rushed him to a donut shop in Pasadena. (Where else would you go for police if you’ve been shot?). With no officers around, they called 911.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he was in stable condition, authorities said.
