Gretchen Carlson: Miss America, Fox host, now bestselling author

Fox News star Gretchen Carlson’s first book, a memoir of her life’s lessons, has already landed on the Conservative Bestseller List, her latest accomplishment.

Getting Real hit at No. 6 on the competitive list that has seen several new books by conservatives start high.

The book from Carlson, a violinist prodigy, Miss America winner, Fox & Friends co-host and now star of her own show, The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson, offers life lessons. Christopher Malagisi, editor of the Conservative Book Club, said “Carlson ‘gets real’ by offering compelling life lessons that could benefit anyone, which includes fun anecdotes about her life, our favorite being that former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) was her babysitter when she was a child!”

Also, Tim Weiner’s new book, One Man Against the World: The Tragedy of Richard Nixon, landed at No. 10.
