Va. woman sentenced for role in contract scheme

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — An Alexandria woman will spend more than a year in prison for her role in a scheme involving Coast Guard contracts.

Thirty-six-year-old Danielle Daniese Ferreira also must pay more than $98,000 in restitution to the U.S. Treasury.
