WATCH: Joe Biden puts hand on teenage girl’s shoulder, offers her dating advice

President Joe Biden gave a teenage girl some dating advice while on a visit to California on Friday.

Biden was in the Golden State to campaign for Democrats in the lead-up to the midterm elections. He swung by Irvine, California, where he also discussed inflation and took aim at high drug prices.

During the event, Biden appeared to be taking photographs with attendees, including a young girl who was smiling as the group posed for a picture. Afterward, the president put his hand on her shoulders and gave out some unsolicited advice.

‘IT’S THAT SIMPLE’: BIDEN GOES ALL-IN TYING REPUBLICANS TO FUTURE INFLATION

“Now, a very important thing I told my daughter and granddaughters — no serious guys until you’re 30,” Biden said, with the girl responding affirmatively.

Someone from the crowd, possibly a parent, asked for Biden to repeat the comment, and after he did, replied, “I’ll keep that in mind.”

This month is a mad dash for Democrats and Republicans out on the campaign trail. With mere days until the election, Democrats are working hard to retain control of Congress, while the GOP is hoping dissatisfaction with the economy and inflation will boost the party’s chances of retaking the House and Senate.

Biden also addressed the hotter-than-expected consumer price index report on Friday during a stop in Los Angeles.

Yearly inflation ending in September clocked in at 8.2%, according to the September report published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Core inflation, a metric that excludes volatile energy and food prices, grew to 6.6% on a year-over-year basis, the highest mark since 1982.

The president, deflecting blame from a raft of fiscal spending by the Democrats, asserted that should Republicans take control of Congress come November, “Inflation is going to get worse. It’s that simple.”
