Biden’s physical results likely to be released Thursday: Report

The White House will likely release the results from President Joe Biden‘s physical checkup on Thursday, according to reports.

Part of the checkup was completed in 2022. Biden was set to get the full checkup last year, but the administration attributed the delay to the president’s travel schedule. He is receiving his checkup after arriving at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center earlier Thursday morning.

WHITE HOUSE PRESSED ON BIDEN PHYSICAL EXAM AFTER BLOWING PAST JANUARY DEADLINE

Biden’s age and well-being have become ammunition for political opponents heading into the 2024 election, with polls indicating that most Democratic voters hope to see a different candidate on the ballot.

A Washington Post/ABC poll found that 31% of Democrats want Biden to run again, with 44% of Republicans supporting former President Donald Trump in his reelection campaign.

The president has affirmed on multiple occasions that he intends to run for a second term in 2024, when he would be 82.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has been asked about Biden’s physical examination six times in January. In response, Jean-Pierre has underscored Biden’s commitment to transparency and assured reporters that more information would be shared after the physical was complete.

When asked about his health in an interview with PBS, Biden said, “Watch me. That’s all I can say.”

Biden also emphasized he would “be completely, thoroughly honest with the American people if I thought there was any health problem — anything — that would keep me from being able to do the job.”
