“I remember the entire night up to the point I got tackled, but after I got tackled I don’t remember much from there, getting carted off I don’t remember,” Tagovailoa said.

The Dolphins quarterback also said he remembers parts of being in the ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and arriving at the hospital.

“I wouldn’t say it was scary for me at the time because there was a point where I was unconscious, so I couldn’t really tell what was going on. When I did come to and kind of realized what was going on and what was happening, I didn’t think of anything long-term or short-term. I was just wondering what happened,” Tagovailoa said.

Tagovailoa cleared the NFL’s concussion protocols Saturday and expects to make his first start since the Sept. 29 game this Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
