Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel issued a stern warning to Republicans Wednesday night: Get on board with President Trump’s agenda or else.
As the GOP prepares to face a tough battle to maintain their majority in the upcoming midterm elections, the GOP chairwoman said that anyone who doesn’t support Trump is “making a mistake.”
“Complacency is our enemy,” McDaniel tweeted Wednesday night. “Anyone that does not embrace the @realDonaldTrump agenda of making America great again will be making a mistake.”
Complacency is our enemy. Anyone that does not embrace the @realDonaldTrump agenda of making America great again will be making a mistake.

Twitter users, namely outspoken “NeverTrump” Republicans, were quick to label the message as hostile and threatening.
What in the actual hell…. is this a threat Ronna? https://t.co/HFz5zltzxK

Demagoguery and cheap threats are now the weapons of the @GOP. Reagan would be so proud. https://t.co/DFTMua9oDO

I was happier to walk away from the party than to embrace a man that goes against everything I think is important – treating others with respect, respecting women, being faithful to spouses, not stiffing subcontractors, and being a world leader by example.
It wasn’t a mistake. https://t.co/ASvFi2szpe

Will the RNC be offering an official Trump brand so everyone can sear His name on their bodies as a sign of loyalty?

The stern message comes during a pivotal time for Republicans as they grapple with a party divided over their own president.
