Metro Transit Police say they have arrested a suspect in a series of armed robberies in the parking garage at the Suitland rail station.

Michael Deon McIntosh, 22, of Suitland, was arrested last week aboard a Green Line train following an armed robbery of a business near the U Street Metro station.
McIntosh matched the description of a suspect wanted in at least four robberies since Sept. 27, police said. In each case, a man with a black handgun approached the riders, demanded property and fled from the garage on foot.
Several victims were able to positively identify McIntosh, police said.
