Clinton, Warren to meet amid VP speculation

After endorsing Hillary Clinton, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is set to meet with the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Friday.

The meeting, according to reports, will be at Clinton’s home in Washington, D.C.

Sources told the Washington Post that the two women have had several conversations over the past month, talking about broader topics and issues.

Warren was one of the last high-profile liberals to endorse Clinton when she did so Thursday night. Though the two are not particularly close, that could change if they can form a bond heading into the general election over their common political enemy, Donald Trump.

Warren has repeatedly gone after presumed Republican nominee Donald Trump in recent weeks, on both social media and in speeches. At one point, there was speculation that Warren could launch a presidential campaign of her own.
