FBI seizes several firearms while raiding home of YouTube star Jake Paul

FBI agents have served a federal search warrant at the sprawling mansion of YouTube star Jake Paul, seizing several firearms found in the residence.

The federal investigators began the raid on Wednesday morning of the Calabasas, California, home. Footage from TMZ showed three vehicles leaving the premises, with several agents in tactical gear hanging off the sides.

The affidavit in support of the warrant has been sealed, and the reason for the raid is unclear. The FBI said that no arrests were planned.

Video captured by AIR7 HD later in the day showed multiple apparent rifles being confiscated by the authorities.

Further footage from TMZ showed the FBI also raiding the infamous Graffiti Mansion in Las Vegas, which is said to be owned by Armani Izadi, a good friend of Paul’s. An FBI agent can be heard on a loudspeaker telling the occupants of the home to come out with their hands up, while many agents in tactical gear waited to search the property. Several people were taken out of the building in handcuffs, but it is hard to discern their identities.

Law enforcement sources for TMZ said the two raids are connected.

Paul has been no stranger to controversy as of late. Last month, he threw a massive party at his home. Video on social media shows scores of young people packed into the mansion. In the footage available, no one appeared to be social distancing, and no one was wearing a mask.

“It wasn’t just myself who was outraged, it was everyone who saw the video,” the city’s mayor told Fox 11.

In June, Paul was charged with criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly after he walked through a mall in Scottsdale, Arizona, that was being ransacked by looters.
