WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama has endorsed New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s campaign for re-election.
Obama says no one embodies New Orleans values of resilience and commitment to a brighter future better than Landrieu. In a statement, Obama says Landrieu is a fierce advocate for jobs, education and crime-reduction, and has earned a second term.
