Pelosi: Democrats should vote against spending bill if doesn’t reflect their ‘values’

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is urging House Democrats to vote against a spending bill to fund the government if it does not include funding for Democratic priorities.

“House and Senate Democratic Leadership has continued to insist on parity in the CAPS, which we insist should include funding for opioids, veterans, pensions, NIH, and support for the DREAM Act,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to Democrats. “Unless we see a respect for our values and priorities, we continue to urge a strong NO on the Continuing Resolution.”
