Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has seemingly “taken a page” from the script of the bombshell defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, his ex-wife.
Late last week, actress Mariska Hargitay, who plays Capt. Liv Benson in the Law & Order: SVU series, was seen walking out of a court building with a young woman, played by ABC’s Bunheads actress Julia Goldani Telles, and flanked by crowds holding signs.

The scene resembled moments of Heard being escorted out of the Fairfax County, Virginia, courthouse in May as supporters for both Heard and Depp held signs and cheered.
During the trial that streamed live, viewers commented that Heard made them think of an episode of Law & Order.
