His wife Gwyneth Paltrow may have bailed on appearing at two local Obama rallies on Friday, citing an “illness,” but Chris Martin was plenty political at his show at the Verizon Center on Friday night.
The Coldplay frontman introduced one song by saying, “This song is called Sarah Palin is hot but I’m still not going to vote for her.” (It actually wasn’t called that.)
And later, for the benefit of anyone who didn’t know already, he added, “We can’t vote, but if we could we’d vote for you-know-who … Obama.”
