PASADENA, Texas (AP) — A multitasking mother in labor has given birth at a Houston-area school where she stopped to register her 4-year-old son while headed to a hospital.

Vanessa DeLeon of Pasadena and her newborn son were doing well when they were transported Thursday to Bayshore Medical Center. A message left with the hospital wasn’t immediately returned Friday.
