Propelled by the conference’s top two scorers — senior guard Ramone Moore (18.0 ppg) and junior guard Khalif Wyatt (16.4 ppg) — Temple leads the A-10 in field goal shooting (47.5 percent) and is second in 3-point accuracy (40.7 percent). GW has lost the last four meetings.

Holy Cross at Navy

Where » Alumni Hall, Annapolis

In its first game without top scorer and rebounder, J.J. Avila (suspension), Navy scored a season low and did not have a player in double figures in a 62-41 loss at Lafayette. It was the 15th straight loss for the Mids (3-19, 0-8), matching the program record established in 1988-89. In the first meeting with Holy Cross (9-13, 3-5), Navy led with seven minutes left before falling 73-69, despite 22 points from Jordan Sugars.

Hofstra at George Mason

Where » Patriot Center, Fairfax

Despite recent shooting woes, GMU (19-6, 11-2) is tied for first place in the CAA with VCU (19-6, 11-2) and Drexel (19-5, 11-2). On Saturday, the Patriots overcame 27.7 percent shooting in a 54-50 win over ODU. Two weeks ago at Hofstra (8-17, 2-11), GMU won 55-50 on a night it shot 31.9 percent from the floor. The good news: The Patriots still lead the CAA in scoring (70.2 ppg) and field goal shooting (45.4 percent).

Wake Forest at No. 19 Virginia

When » Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.

Where » John Paul Jones Arena, Charlottesville

TV » RSN

Virginia (18-4, 5-3) tries to end its perplexing hex against Wake Forest (11-12, 2-7), which has won the last six meetings. This is a good time to catch the Demon Deacons, who have lost four straight by double-digit margins and are tied for last place in the ACC. The Cavaliers’ vaunted defense will try to make things difficult for junior guard C.J. Harris (17.5 ppg) and sophomore forward Travis McKie (15.8 ppg, 7.2 rpg).
